Intergr8 Ltd offers a tier 1 subcontract machining service for some of the world’s most iconic brands. It has equipment to service small to medium large components across the complete spectrum of materials. Through two sites, one in Coventry and one in Stroud standard steels, specialist alloys, nylons and composites are all machined in volumes of prototype, pre-production and low to mid production.
At Coventry there is a specific speciality in large section castings (from low alloy carbon to duplex stainless) and super duplex billet turned components.
In Stroud there is generally an emphasis on billet form material, converted with higher levels of automation and with unmanned processes.
An extensive, fully audited and collaborative supply chain provides all specialist operations such as splining, hobbing, broaching and grinding along with surface finishing such as induction hardening, anodising, chroming and zinc plating.
These external activities are supported by internal tumbling, in cycle and post cycle deburring, ultrasonic cleaning, sub-assembly, full assembly and air leakage testing.
There is a uniform approach to quality with ISO9001 and TS16949 with AS9100 expected shortly. The latest CMM technology featuring Renishaw probes and temperature controlled inspection rooms supports PPAP/PSW compliance supplied at levels 1-5. All inspection equipment calibrated by UKAS approved laboratories only.
The business is supported by a CAD estimating package, offline Edgecam programming and an ERP system for full traceability through data capture. The company reports OTIF and PPM attainment with SC21 compliant reporting.
